2017 Golden Globes Nominees Are Here!

The Golden Globes are probably my favorite awards show.  Every year it’s a toss between the Oscars and the Globes as my favorite, but usually the Globes reign IMO.  Why? Because the Globes include television.  The small screen is such a huge part of my life (along with movies, of course) so having television recognized is always a plus.  After watching the nominations being announced early this morning, and after watching the Critics Choice Awards last night, I am reminded how many movies I need to see this holiday season. Must list includes: Rogue One, Passengers, La La Land, Moana, Moonlight, Manchester By The Sea, Arrival, Edge of Seventeen, Hidden Figures, and Jackie.  For television, I need to get on the This Is Us and Westworld bandwagon ASAP.

This year the nominees were announced by Anna Kendrick, Don Cheadle, and Laura Dern.  The 74th Annual Golden Globes will air on January 8th and are going to be hosted by my man Jimmy Fallon. Here’s hoping he rocks a few musical numbers!

Check out the nominees below.
